A good Teacher explains, a superior Teacher demonstrates, but a great Teacher inspires. We would like to honor the inspiring work of our great Educators as they touch the future with their wisdom and efforts today.

A/Prof Chen Fun Gee
"Prof Chen is always keen to offer advice on anything, from Fastrach Intubating LMAs, volatile washout curves and inhaled nitric oxide, to insights on the art of jazz music (especially his favourite saxophone and guitar) and landscape photography. Cool under pressure, approachable and ever willing to teach, it's always a treat to see my name paired with his on the OT roster for the next day!"

Dr Bryan Ng
"Dr Bryan Ng is both an inspiring teacher as well as an amiable colleague. It is always a joy watching Dr Ng's focused and calm demeanour while at work; it is a trait I hope to mirror. He is always able to tell when I am in doubt and finds time to clarify with me and at the same time, impart valuable knowledge on the case. Even in stressful situations, he lightens the mood with his unique sense of humor to create a condusive environment for both work and learning. Dr Ng places a lot of emphasis on the practical aspects of our learning, detailing to us his thought processes behind his decisions. This definitely sharpens our clinical reasoning and hones us to become a better clinician."

Professor Lee Tat Leang
"It is always a privilege to work under Professor Lee. He is approachable, affable and kind, and there is so much to learn from him. He conducts his anaesthetics with true elegance, poise and calm; never in a hurry and always in control. I look to him as a benchmark and a role model. There is always a clinical pearl or interesting fact he imparts for each case and he is patient and precise when teaching new procedures. Even with his wealth of experience, he is continually seeking new methods to improve established practices. Never rest on your laurels and always strive to improve – this lesson I hope to always remember as I progress in my training."
