Locums (Blood Donation Centre)

The Department of Laboratory Medicine, National University Hospital, is seeking candidates who are interested to join us as a Locum in the Blood Donation Centre.

The successful candidates will be responsible for checking donors' eligibility by conducting medical screening to determine their suitability for donation. He/She will also be responsible for ensuring donors' safety throughout the donation process. The National University Hospital conducts about 8 to10 blood drives a year, and the minimum duration of a mobile blood drive is 4 hours per trip.

Please note that successful candidates will have to undergo a one-day orientation at the Blood Donation Centre.

Requirements:

Must possess Medical Degree recognised by the Singapore Medical Council
Doctors who are full registration with the Singapore Medical Council are preferred
Retired doctors are also welcome to apply
Must be able to perform duties on weekdays and/or weekends or public holidays
Ability to converse in Mandarin and other local dialects will be an advantage
