Assistant/Associate Professor (Clinician-Investigator Track)
The Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology provides tertiary level care in an academic setting. The Department is seeking candidates for the area of Reproductive Endocrinology, Infertility (REI), as Assistant or Associate Professor on a clinician-investigator track. This position is also suitable for candidates who aim to have a career in academic Obstetrics and Gynecology.
The candidate must possess a Basic Medical Degree that can be registered with the Singapore Medical Council and recognised postgraduate qualifications in Obstetrics & Gynecology such as MMed (O&G), MRCOG (UK), US-OBGYN Board eligibility, or its equivalent. The candidate must possess excellent clinical skills, have a continuing track record in obtaining peer-reviewed grant funding, and in publishing in peer-reviewed journal articles.
Post-fellowship candidates who have completed fellowship/subspecialty programs in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility are encouraged to apply. Candidates with a higher research degree (PhD, MD, Masters) and have research interest in all aspects of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, will have an added advantage. Research work will be conducted in the Yong lab where it has a special focus on human diseases relating to steroid/nuclear receptors and drug development.
Commencing salary will be competitive, depending on qualifications and experience.
