The Challenges
Your main responsibility is to ensure sufficient linen is packed in trolleys for wards, clinics and operating theatres. Sorting of fresh linen from laundry and deliver them up to departments. Towing of linen trolleys to designated area. Changing of curtains according to schedule.
Other areas of responsibility are to counter check on in-coming linens deliveries, Cleaning and polishing of trolley. Assist to receive and record soiled/clean curtains, mending / sewing of buttons, torn pyjamas/linen. Perform ad hoc duties assigned.
The Requirements
- Minimum Primary Level
- Able to push/pull heavy trolley.
- Able to communicate well in English and one other second language (Bahasa Melayu, Chinese or Tamil preferred).
- Basic computer literacy.
- Able to work shifts.
- Service oriented and customer focused.
- Have initiative and good interpersonal skills.
- Skills in mending and use of sewing machine a plus
- A team player
