Job Purpose
Responsible for the daily operations of the Investigational Medicine Unit (IMU) including administrative (budget administration and manpower planning, training, development) and clinical trials management.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for all operational aspects of clinical trials conducted by IMU.
- To develop and manage a team of Clinical Research Coordinators (CRCs) for clinical trials and research conducted by IMU
- To develop and manage a team of Administrative staff to support the clinical operations for the clinical trials in IMU
- To prepare, maintain and create IMU reports (Monthly and Ad-hoc reports).
- To assist the IMU directors in reports / presentation preparations.
- To organize scientific, committee and other professional meetings.
- To Supervise, train, and mentor Clinical Research Coordinators.
- Management of IMU Infrastructure Grant NMRC) and other external fundings to ensure proper financial accountability and timely management reporting.
Candidate Qualifications & Requirements:
- University Degree or Registered Nurse with 3 years or above working experience
- Candidate with experience in the clinical research or regulatory affairs with be considered favorably
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Working knowledge of Singapore Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines, International Conference on Harmonization GCP guidelines and current version of Declaration of Helsinki
- Able to work independently and meticulously
- Good listening and communication skills; Knowledge of different languages and dialects is advantageous
- Possess strong interpersonal skills
- Possess good supervisory and management skills
- Possess leadership qualities.
