The Executive of Nursing Department is involved in numerous functions critical to the smooth operations of the Nursing Department and Inpatient Wards. The Executive is responsible for organising operational, administrative and other non-clinical department functions to meet the constant demands and new challenges of the healthcare industry in Singapore. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven, dedicated individual who wants to gain in-depth knowledge of a hospital operating environment.
The Executive's job responsibilities include continuously improving and streamlining work processes affecting 34 inpatient wards, driving IT developments and innovation projects, and supporting the Director and Assistant Directors of Nursing Department. They also include statistical analysis of financial data, assisting to manage staff and other resources, coordination with other departments within the hospital, and ensuring all departmental operations are efficient and effective.

The Requirements
- At least 2 years of work experience
- Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science or related disciplines.
- Some experience in health care environment, project management, knowledge of hospital IT systems and operational workflow healthcare policy and practices will be an added advantage.
- Excellent skills and knowledge in computer software such as MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access and Frontpage. Knowledge of SAP will be an added advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as verbal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational, coordination and time management skills
- Analytical, with attention to details, committed and results driven.
- Flexible and adaptable, with positive work attitude and ability to work with all level of staff.
