The Challenges

The National University Hospital (NUH) is a tertiary acute care hospital and major referral centre that provides advanced, leading-edge medical care for a comprehensive range of clinical specialties. Backed by substantive expertise and experience, it has been chosen to house two new national specialist centres to meet the growing need for heart and cancer treatments. With this, there are ample opportunities for NUH pharmacists in particular to explore exciting areas of clinical pharmacy service as well as translational research looking into how we can give innovative care to our patients.  At the same time, there are opportunities to bring new knowledge in drug therapies leveraging on pharmacists knowledge to push back the frontiers of drug treatment. You can now be part of this dynamic team whose main mission is to provide the highest level of pharmaceutical service to our patients, doctors, nurses and other paramedical staff. 

The Requirements

• Registered pharmacist with at least 1-2 years of working experience in a hospital OR possess a Degree that is recognised by and can be registered with Singapore Pharmacy Council.
• Passionate about working in an academic medical centre with doctors to find new ways of treating diseases
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare workers.
• Willing to take on challenges, be innovative and well motivated to apply and share knowledge and skills.
• Ability to work independently and be part of a team that is committed to providing quality, cost-effective and specialised care to our patients.
