Clinical Pharmacist
The Challenges
NUH Pharmacy Department provides comprehensive clinical and distributive services to support the various medical disciplines. These include ward pharmacy, retail pharmacy, clinical nutrition, intravenous admixture service, oncology pharmacy, drug and poison information, anticoagulant clinic and specialised medication counselling services in the areas of cancer, diabetes, asthma, stroke and anticoagulation. With the establishment of NUHS and setting up of a National University Cancer Institute and National University Heart Centre at NUH, we are seeking full-time Clinical Pharmacists to join our team to provide a myriad of clinical pharmacy services especially in cardiology and oncology and also in paediatrics, medical and surgical disciplines. There are opportunities to climb the clinical career ladder and to establish yourself as a specialist pharmacist.
General Requirements

Possess MSc (Clinical Pharmacy) or Pharm D and have undergone 1 year of basic residency training OR

Possess MSc (Clinical Pharmacy) or Pharm D and have 2 years of clinical experience for those without basic residency training OR

Possess Board certification and have minimum 3 years of clinical experience

Ability to communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare workers.

Willing to take on challenges, be innovative and well motivated to apply and share knowledge and skills.

Interest in clinical pharmacy and desire to develop this further.

Ability to work independently and be part of a team that is committed to providing quality, cost-effective and specialised care to our patients.
