Honouring and Recognising Your Gift
Gifts of any amount will be gratefully accepted. Besides cash, donations can also be in the form of bequeathed assets or other financial instruments such as stocks.
Donors may give to the general fund or they may specify where their gifts are to be directed. Gifts may be expendable over a period of years or endowed, where the principal sum will be invested and the only the returns disbursed for use.
Patients who apply for financial assistance are carefully screened and only when other avenues of aid have been exhausted will the NUHS award funding to the patients from the appropriate programme or fund. Similarly, student applications for aid are carefully assessed to ensure that financial help goes towards the most deserving students.

Naming Opportunities
For eligible gifts, we will be pleased to recognise your generosity by offering naming opportunities for facilities or programmes in your honour, or in honour of a company, organisation, foundation or loved one.
Dollar-for-Dollar Government Matching
Eligible gifts may qualify for dollar-for-dollar matching by the Government, thus doubling the value and impact of your gift.
Income Tax Deduction Benefit
All gifts made in the calendar year 2009 will enjoy a 250% income tax deduction. When the tax deduction of the gift is more than the income for the year, the donor is allowed to carry forward the unutilised deduction over five years.
