Even in affluent Singapore, we have financially needy patients who can neither afford medical treatment nor qualify for financial aids. The NUH Patientcare Charity Fund aims to meet the needs of these needy patients.
Education awards such as scholarships and bursaries for medical, dental and nursing students help to nurture future medical professionals, thereby ensuring the continuity and quality of healthcare in Singapore. You can also give to fund professorships, fellowship programme, to help bring more internationally reowned overseas experts to Singapore for the benefit of our students.
In research, adequate funding will help to ensure that the retention of talented research staff and the continuity of the research programme. Your gift to research can contribute towards better management of chronic illnesses or new discovery of elusive cures for life-threatening diseases that particularly afflict Singaporeans and communities in the region.
