Associate Professor Yeoh Khay Guan

Dean, NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine

A gastroenterologist by training, Dr. Khay-Guan Yeoh (MBBS, MMed, FRCP) is Dean of the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. He is Associate Professor at the Department of Medicine, National University of Singapore and Senior Consultant with the Department of Gastroenterology, National University Hospital.

 

Dr Yeoh's research interest is in the early detection of gastric and colorectal cancers, and has published over 100 peer-reviewed papers in international journals. He is the Lead Principal Investigator of the Singapore Gastric Cancer Consortium, a national flagship research group which aims to improve the survival outcomes for gastric cancer in Singapore. Dr Yeoh also chairs the National Colorectal Cancer Screening Committee of the Health Promotion Board, Ministry of Health which recommends guidelines for the national colorectal screening programme in Singapore.
