Mr Patrick Daniel

Mr Patrick Daniel is Editor-in-Chief of the English & Malay Newspapers Division of Singapore Press Holdings (SPH). He joined SPH as a leader writer in October 1986, after a stint in the Singapore Administrative Service, where he served as a director in the Ministry of Trade and Industry. Prior to assuming his current role in January 2007, he was managing editor of the English and Malay Newspapers Division from September 2002. Prior to this, he was the editor of The Business Times for 10 years.

Mr Daniel graduated from University College, Oxford in 1976 with a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Engineering Sciences and Economics. He also has a Masters in Public Administration from the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University.
